Women’s Work Crew: The Team Behind the Scenes at RMMS

Each year, 500 men gather for the Rocky Mountain Men’s Summit.

Behind the scenes, a team of women helps make it possible...preparing meals, washing countless dishes, and serving in the dining hall to keep everything running smoothly. Work Crew helps carry the weekend with steadiness, flexibility, and care.

We’re building that team.

This is a women’s serving opportunity designed primarily for women connected to The Herd in some capacity...wives, girlfriends, sisters, coworkers, or friends of men who are part of Herd Strong or attending the Summit.

Work Crew is for women who understand the value of what’s being built within The Herd and want a live, behind-the-scenes look at the kind of brotherhood being formed in real time.

This weekend isn’t about recognition or even simply “getting away.” Yes, you’ll be in the mountains, and your lodging and meals will be covered. But more than that, this is a tangible way for women to serve the men attending the Summit for a brief weekend.

And through that proximity, we get a glimpse into what God is building through the community within The Herd...and what that can mean for us as wives, sisters, daughters, coworkers, or friends connected to the men attending.

It’s for women who are willing to work hard, communicate well, and serve as part of a team, carrying responsibility with humility while building genuine connection with others doing the same.

What to Expect

This is a full weekend commitment.

Dates: August 21-23, 2026 Location: Fraser, CO
Arrival: 12:00–2:00 PM Friday
Departure: Around 12:00 PM Sunday (after cleanup)

You’ll serve in the kitchen and dining hall alongside facility staff, supporting cooking, dishwashing, and meal service. The crew is split into morning and evening shifts, with assignments given upon arrival.

The work is physical and steady, early mornings, time on your feet, and a willingness to step in wherever needed. There is also margin to rest, take a walk, or reset between shifts. And there is designated time each day for the Work Crew to gather, go deeper, make connections and build community as a group.

Lodging is shared dorm-style (bunk beds). Meals are provided.

This is an 18+ opportunity. Full participation is required.

What You’ll Take Home

Women come in hoping to meet new friends and peek behind the curtain. That certainly happens, but that’s not the end.

This kind of perspective is hard to find in the pace of everyday life. And so is the time for connection amongst other likeminded women. The kind that forms quickly when you’ve worked side by side, conversations on a short walk or between shifts that go deeper, faster, because trust is already there.

Come to serve and see the impact on men. Leave with a circle of women you can build friendships with at home, and a fresh perspective toward the man in your life.
